I still feel South Tyrolean even though I don't go there often anymore. Since my parents died it's not so important anymore. My siblings all have children and their own worries. We often speak on the phone. Sometimes they come and visit me. Only two of my four brothers are still alive. Both my sisters have died, too. I would never have thought I'd grow so old. God knows what he wants and needs from us.
